Principles​

  • Start with a modular monolith, not microservices.
  • Keep clear module boundaries so components can be extracted later if justified.
  • The native mobile application consumes the same backend API as the PWA.
  • Schema changes are versioned with Flyway.

Geospatial data​

PostGIS is expected to store and query routes, tracks, GPX points, points of interest, geographic zones and terrain-related information, including proximity searches and spatial queries.
